24oct9:30 am11:30 amImaginative Play MattersImaginative Play Matters events will be held across 4 mornings during Children\\'s Week at the Play Matters Sunshine Coast Hub. Hosting 4 consecutive events will give more children and families the opportunity to participate. Children informed the decision to host these events. Children attending the Mons Playgroups were asked the question, \\'would you like to celebrate Children\\'s Week again this year and how should we celebrate?\\' Of course the answer was YES, and \\'dress up and make things and play\\' was the unanimous answer! The activities delivered at these events will be guided by our Children\\'s Voices Project, to inform the activities delivered across all 4 events. The children have provided a long list of play experiences they love to do at playgroup. Activities such as dress up stations, kitchen play, picnics, car washing, painting, obstacle course, music, dance, and craft. Local organisations aligning with our values and supporting Children\\'s Rights will be invited to participate, such as Sunshine Sign & Sing, First Nations Community groups, Library, Fire truck, Police, Sunshine Coast Councils Waste and Recycling Education, musical entertainment are some examples. All children and families in the community will be invited to attend.
