23 October – 31 October 2021
Children’s Rights Queensland convenes Children’s Week in Queensland. The week takes place in October each year.
Children's Week 2021
Children’s Week is an annual event celebrated in Australia. A diverse range of events and activities are organised at National, State and Local levels to celebrate the rights of children to enjoy childhood and for the wider community to rejoice in their talents, skills and abilities.
In 2021, Children’s Rights Queensland turns 50 and is offering 50 grants to groups and organisations, to help support them to deliver a children’s week celebration or project that raises awareness of children’s rights. Organisations and groups can also register Children’s Week celebrations and projects to go in the draw to win one of three $200 gift cards.
Children's Week Grants
We’re offering grants of up to $500 to support groups and organisations to deliver a celebration or project during Children’s Week 2021.
Register your celebration
Register your Children’s Week celebration or project before 24 September 2021 to go in the draw to win one of three $200 gift cards.
