Children’s Rights Queensland (CRQ), in partnership with the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC), is proud to deliver a statewide art competition that invites children and young people to creatively express what it means to be loved, respected, and have their rights upheld.
The competition encourages participants to reflect on and visually represent the QFCC’s vision statement: “Every Queensland child is loved, respected and has their rights upheld.”
This initiative aims to spark creativity, celebrate diverse perspectives, and foster rights-based conversations in communities across Queensland.
Winners will take home a share of over $2,000 worth of prizes!
Selected artworks may be showcased at CRQ’s Children’s Week Launch Event in October 2025 and featured in QFCC publications and other forums. Join us in spotlighting the voices of children and young people through the power of art.
Submissions close 15 June 2025.
