Art Competition Terms and Conditions
By submitting an entry to the ‘Every Child Art Competition’ 2025, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following terms:
- Consent
- I confirm I have obtained consent from the child/ren who created the artwork to submit their design for this competition (if I am not the artist).
- If the artist is under 18, I confirm I am their parent/legal guardian and give permission for their participation and the use of their artwork and related information.
- If I am the artist, I give my permission for the use of my artwork and related information.
- Copyright and Use of Artwork
- The artist retains copyright of the submitted work.
- By submitting the artwork, I grant Children’s Rights Queensland (CRQ) and the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:
- Use, reproduce, amend or adapt the submitted artwork.
- Use images, video or audio recordings featuring the artist or their artwork.
- Use the artist’s first name, age group, and group/organisation name.
- Publish and distribute this content on CRQ, QFCC, and third-party websites, social media platforms, and other digital or print channels.
- Use the submitted artwork, in full or in part, for promotional and educational purposes, including marketing and advertising.
- Selection and Promotion
- Selected artworks may be:
- Retained and displayed at CRQ’s 2025 Children’s Week Launch Event and/or other exhibitions.
- Used in national or local campaigns promoting children’s rights and wellbeing.
- Used in publications or promotional materials.
- If an artwork is selected for public display or national promotion, the licence is irrevocable.
- If information is missing from the submission or Terms and Conditions have not been agreed to, artwork may be excluded from the judging process.
- Remuneration and Prizes
- No financial compensation will be provided for submission or use of the artwork.
- A prize will be awarded to the winner in each category, distributed by Children’s Rights Queensland. Second and third place may be recognised with certificates of achievement, but no additional prizes will be given.
- Winning entries may be adapted or edited for use across CRQ or QFCC channels.
- Privacy
- Personal details are collected solely for the purpose of administering this competition and managing consent for the use of content.
- This information will be handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 and will not be shared without consent except as outlined above.
