We currently provide Student Wellbeing Officers and Chaplains in 14 schools across South East QLD. Most of our workers run breakfast clubs on the mornings that they work in their schools. We are an approved community group through Foodbank QLD and would like to purchase through Foodbank, enough breakfast club supplies for all of our schools for the entire of Term 4 which starts October 2 and finishes December 9. Roughly 700+ children at Primary schools receive breakfast on average twice per week because of our breakfast club programs. We would also like to purchase from Foodbank QLD, supplies for a morning tea for all of the teachers and staff for just 1 day. We are going to be dedicating every breakfast club across Term 4 2023 to Children’s Rights QLD if successful in this grant application as our way of saying thank you for your help last year and again this year. We will also be discussing Children’s rights and displaying flyers/signage at our Breakfast clubs. The morning tea will also be themed as a Children’s Rights activity with questions and answers around how we as a service provider could better assist the schools with Children’s Rights matters. We will be taking lots of photos for our website and performing 7 case studies on these events. We would love to offer to share these photos and case studies with you at the conclusion of our efforts. Thanks for your consideration again this year.
