Celebrating Playmatters 50th Birthday and Imaginative play month

We are planning a 50th birthday party for play matters, and celebrating the theme imaginative play.

We are encouraging all children and families to dress up or make dress up craft to wear on the day.

From 9.30am outside, there will be imaginative play installations set up encouraging children to step into character, imagine, play and explore. (PIrate ships, construction zone, home corner, small world play and more). We will provide a safe place for children to play and educate families and the community about the importance and the child’s right to play. Inside, there will be wearable dress up craft and icing biscuits (crown, wand, wing, bag and party hat craft).

In the last 40 minutes of the event we would like to invite Maggie Moo to do a 40 minute music and movement session with the children, finishing at 11.30 Karliensnyman@maggiemoomusic.com.au

There will be a shared morning tea provided for the children and families.
