To bring awareness to parents that hearing is pivotal to a child’s ability to learn to read and write and grow socially. Often hearing is overlooked and children are labelled as disruptive and unwilling to learn when it may only be they cannot hear properly due to excess wax buildup in their ears. Because pain may not always be associated with blocked ears, the problem is overlooked. A quick and simple examination is all that’s needed to rule out compromised hearing. I would like to offer free ear checks and promote children’s rights week with right to quality health care.
