Prospect Teddy Bear's Picnic

To celebrate Children’s Week 2023

Prospect (Family & Youth Support Team) will host a Teddy Bear’s Picnic at Lissner Park Charters Towers

The event is an opportunity to promote children’s rights and engage with local families.

Activities will encourage and promote awareness of the needs, rights and achievements of children.

Prospect’s Mission is – To engage with people and community, providing support, building capacity and relationships to create lasting solutions.

We aim to engage, empower and support our young people and encourage them to relax, play and take part in activities they enjoy.

EVENT DATE & TIME

Wednesday 25th October, 10:00am to 12:00pm

INVOLVEMENT

Invitations will be sent to all the Schools, Playgroups and Childcare Centres – we anticipate over 200 in attendance (Children and carers/parents)

We will also promote the event to the general public

We will also have health Providers and local Services trade stalls, Music, games, activities and more.

$500 Grant will provide resources for activities and hire of tables & Chairs
